19/10/14 -  Dark Lochnagar broke through for his maiden win at Warnambool over 2000m after two very good runs this preparation.

The lightly raced gelding sat third in the race to hit the lead in the straight and hold off any challengers.

It was a good effort as he was jumping from 1400m to the 2000m at his third run in from a spell and he was strong to the line and looks like a nice staying prospect.
