9/7/13.  Monde Boy drew a wide barrier on the Geelong Synthetic and Jarrod Fry settled back on him  and then threaded his way through the field to  squeeze through a narrow gap and just get to the front on the line. It was a good effort by Monde Boy to win first up over the 1200m.
