We had a good day at Ararat on the 9/10/12 with the first starter Shah of Shelford running  a great race after getting back in the field and running on really well in the straight to finish 3rd, he showed he is looking for further and will have his next  start over 1400m in a few weeks.

Freshwater Rose was a bit disappointing and was reluctant to go forward  from the barriers and settled last, she ran on well to finish 4th but we will take the blinkers off to see if she is more inclined to go forward without them.

Podsnap ran a great race to finish 2nd after being lucky to stay on her feet when coping severe interference just after the start and having to race back and come round the field on a leader bias track.
