23/7/17- Wells makes a triumphant return to jumping at Bendigo in the Moss Trooper Steeple Chase.

He was having his first jumping start since his courageous win in the Grand National last year after being a late scratching at Sandown in the Australian Steeple in late May.

He had been running well on the flat and it was good to see him return to the winners circle.

He was given a great ride by Richard Cully sitting midfield early, then working home to run down the leader in the straight carrying top weight of 70kgs.
