7th April 19 – Comics kicked off his campaign with a tough win at Echuca in a 2100m maiden. He was first up for over a year and travelled nicely in the run sitting third and settling well for Andrew Mallyon. He got clear in the straight and pulled away the last 100 meters. It was a great effort after such a long time off and he rewarded his owners for their patience.
